logo_ennaSince in the sixties, Barney Glaser and Anselm Strauss founded the Grounded Theory, with the intent to build a paradigm in which qualitative researchers could recognize themselves, the legitimacy of the qualitative method has gone from saying.

Today the qualitative approach has increased its use in the researches and the quality-quantity debate, which for decades has inspired the scientific community, seems to tone down. The subject of seminars and studies is not more the legitimacy of the method, but it appears that a reflection on the different forms that the qualitative analysis begins to take on.

Under the mantle of "qualitative analysis' gather round different techniques, different software and new questions of methodology are beginning to engage on both existing and new procedures. The difficulties are greater for those who took its first steps in qualitative research. For those who are wondering about which technique to use for what purpose and by what procedure to achieve it, finally, how to present the results. For this reason, it creates a conference for young scholars who use qualititative methods to carrying out their research.

The conference is open to young scholars that have not overcome 40 years, whether they are graduate students, postdocs, research fellows, young researchers. The papers presented will be evaluated by double blind review. Senior experts in the area of qualitative research, will be called during the conference to report on specific subjects of their expertise. The communications - by juniors and seniors -will be published as conference proceedings. We invite young scholars to submit their proposals on the following topics:

Life story. Qualitative interviews. Ethnography research (Auto and Virtual ethnography) Software for qualitative analysis. From the word to the textual datum: techniques of analysis. Reflections on the use of qualitative research in various scientific areas.
