West University of Timisoara proudly announces The 5th International Conference MULTIDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVES IN THE QUASI-COERCIVE TREATMENT OF OFFENDERS – Probation as a field of study and research: From person to society, which will be held on 31 March – 01 April, 2016 in Timisoara - Romania.
The 5th SPECTO edition will focus strongly on relevant and practically useful interdisciplinary scientific knowledge with regard to interventions aiming at social reintegration of offenders.
On behalf of the conference committee we would like to invite you to submit your papers for oral or poster presentation. The conference will cover important issues of scientific research under various sub-themes on the criminal justice system and specifically on probation. The purpose of this conference is to bring together researchers from around the globe in order to present and discuss new trends in the fields of probation development and other alternatives to incarceration. PhD students and early career researchers are particularly welcome to attend the conference and present on their projects.
SPECTO becomes a traditional annual international conference for researchers and scientists and expects to collect a wide audience of participants and listeners. We hope that the theme of this year, ”Probation as a field of study and research: From person to society”, that includes a wide array of topics, will meet your expectations and, the participation to the Conference, will offer you an opportunity to meet up with your colleagues, friends and renowned specialists from all over the world.
