Author Guidelines and Publication Policies

About the Journal

Sociologie Românească (Romanian Sociology Review) is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Research Institute for Quality of Life, Romanian Academy, in partnership with the Romanian Sociological Association. The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical and conceptual papers, methodological contributions, comparative and historical studies, case studies, book reviews, and conference reports. We encourage submissions employing diverse methodological and theoretical approaches that advance sociological knowledge, including research on social change, social development, social history, social policy, demography, gender studies, political sociology, social inequalities, education, organizations and labour, criminology, migration, and related fields. The journal is particularly interested in contributions focusing on Central and Eastern Europe, while maintaining a broad international perspective and encouraging cross-national and interdisciplinary scholarship.

Articles should be sent using this formular in accordance with the submission procedure.

The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
