Abstract

The paper consists of an approach of the value orientations in the village of Tilişca (the county of Sibiu), from the perspective of the responses received to a proverb questionnaire conceived by Gheorghiţă Geană. The categories of analysis of such responses reproduce the scheme of the „human basic problems” which Florence R. Kluckhohn defined as a modality of characterising the „modal personality” at the level of little communities. The anthropological study of the worldview can be relevant for the general (monographic) analysis of a social group, in completing the social and economic data about that group.
