Abstract
To understand the effects of the pandemic on research in a particular field, we need to review the existing literature in that field up to the pandemic period. In this sense, I have synthesized the existing Romanian literature in the field of digital division among children in Romania. The results of this literary synthesis confirm an acute lack of Romanian data and research in this field. The pandemic has required in-depth research in this area, and the interests of researchers in the effects of digital technology on children/young people, have become imperative in all areas, especially education.
